Sledding routes with opportunities to refresh
After the fast tobogganing fun, a hearty Oberallgäu snack tastes twice as good. On numerous toboggan runs you will be tempted by the cozy Alps with their warm and cozy restaurants.
Below the Wertacher Hörnles, for example, the Buchel-Alpe offers a worthwhile stop, while the Gunzesrieder Hochtal, the rustic Rappengschwend Alpe, invites you to take a break.
Also the Seealpe at the Nebelhorn attracts with tasty dishes before it goes on the 2.5 km long natural toboggan run directly down to Oberstdorf.
Sledding at Mittag and Grünten
A special attraction in the Oberallgäu is the natural toboggan run at noon near Immenstadt - with 5.2 km one of the longest natural toboggan runs in Germany. Two natural toboggan runs of 3.5 km and 4.5 km in length, which are prepared daily, also start at the Alpsee Bergwelt mountain station. If you don't have a toboggan with you, you can rent one at the valley station.
Not far from Immenstadt lies the Grünten - the guardian of the Allgäu. At its foot is the village of Kranzegg, from where you can start off on a beautiful toboggan run. With the chairlift or on foot it goes up to the mountain station and on the daily freshly prepared distance over 1.3 km back into the valley.
