At the local museum in Sonthofen visitors experience the history of the most southern town in Germany. Periodically there are special exhibitions as well.
Beside the ongoing exhibition of the towns history, the Heimathaus Sonthofen offers many special exhibitions and different events. Regularly educational kids programs take place, like a workshop to discover topics of the Middle Ages.

The museum is open every day from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., except mondays and fridays, when it is closed.
Price:
Adults pay 5 euro; kids between 6 and 18 years pay 3 euro and kids under 6 are free of charge.
