Bergbau- und Stadtmuseum
Uniquely, you can explore the underground mining of iron ore in the Deep Adit. In the Small Cabinet of the museum, there are readings, a variety of art exhibitions, theater performances as well as cabaret events and lectures on the history of the town and mining.
The Weilburg Mining and Town Museum is a geopoint in the Westerwald-Lahn-Taunus GEOPARK. Thanks to the new audio guides, visitors to our Weilburg Mining and Town Museum can take even more individualized forays into Weilburg's history.
