On the Lahnwanderweg trail you can collect up to 19 stamps in your hiking pass. You will find the stamps in red wooden boxes somewhere along the trail or at the tourist information offices from Bad Laasphe to Lahnstein.

You can either order the hiking pass from us or print it out yourself:

Hiking pass - original size

Hiking pass - optimised for DIN A4

We award the Lahnwanderweg Trail Hiking Certificate for as few as three stages. Simply send us your hiking pass. We guarantee you'll get it back.

If you have hiked 17 of the 19 stages and collected them in your hiking pass, you can take part in a small competition. Of course, we will send your souvenir hiking pass back to you afterwards.

A few insider tips:

The stamping station on the route of stage 10 is located in the vestibule of the Tourist Information Wetzlar, which is open to the public daily until the evening hours. Alternatively, you can collect the 10 (and 9) stamp at the Tourist Information Gießen during opening hours.

For stage 15 you can only get the stamp "indoors". Either at the Limburg or Runkel Tourist Information Centres or in Villmar at the Lahn Marble Museum. Please note the opening hours.
