The "Höfle Alpe" is idyllically situated in Diepolz at an altitude of 1060 m and is part of the "Allgäuer Bergbauernmuseum". In 2001, the hut was still situated in Warmatsgund near Oberstdorf. From there, it was dismantled and moved to Diepolz. The Alpe offers a beautiful view from the mountain "Säntis" over the whole Allgäuer mountain range up to the "Tannheim valley".
The hut is an ideal starting point for hikes and for a hearty break afterwards. The Alpe invites you to a snack with exclusively regional products, such as cheese from the Diepolz dairy, homemade bread, warm soups and homemade cakes and tarts.
Opening hours
In the summer season:
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday from 10 am. to 7 pm
- Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 am. to 10 pm
