Through stunning landscapes on the steep slopes of the Mosel, deep canyons, along bubbling brooks, plunge into the Middle Ages at the wildly romantic Ehrenburg Castle, crowned with spectacular views of the Mosel and the Mosel valley.

Marvellous views of the plains of the Mosel plateau and tranquil meadowlands along the bubbling Elzbach combine with a unique cultural monument: the castle per se – Eltz Castle!

Adventurous paths and steep cliffs alternate with wide fields and beautiful views, The medieval Pyrmont castle invites the hiker to a visit, and the crowning finish is the idyllic waterfall at the Pyrmont Mill.

Along unspoilt paths on the steep slopes of the Mosel directly through the vineyards. Via ferrata create thrills, the distinctive Rabenlay and Kreuzlay mounains allow wonderful views before the path plunges into the magical and serene "Schrumpftal" (Schrumpf valley).

The circular trail leads through forest and valley and rewards with far-reaching views of the Hunsrück and the Mosel valley.
